I was born in Kingsford, Michigan (Upper Peninsula). I have lived in Chicago, IL, Austin and Houston, TX, Bonn and Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and I spent a summer as a volunteer in Lusaka, Zambia. My husband and I have two sweet, energetic little boys with whom we love reading, traveling, and playing Mario Kart.

What I love most about my job as a college professor is talking with my students about vocation and sharing their journey to discern how to combine their loves, talents, values and goals to create a meaningful life.

When I'm not working, I love to sing (Broadway, art songs), dance (ballet, salsa, Middle Eastern), and go for leisurely bike rides with my kids.
